So your goal, rather than just come up with something beautiful, is to infuse into the design everything the team has learned about the product. Prioritize rapid prototyping in order to get early insights of what the users want. Save the detailed artistic work for later. Ensure that everything that is designed is aligned with the core value proposal and with the users’ needs. Since screens don’t tell the whole story anymore, you will have to document different states, transitions, and animations as well as how the app reacts to data and to the environment. All three major mobile platforms have similarities and profound differences on how they understand mobile interaction design. Their users expect different things from them. As a mobile designer, you should be completely aware of these differences and able to detect them on the spot. Don’t stick with a single mobile platform. Try all three, or at least use Android and iOS on a daily basis for at least 6 months each. I did it, and it’s great—you get insights from each platform you’ll never get with casual use or looking at screenshots. And switching is good: being a fanboy is bad for a mobile designer.

A designer is a person who makes designs for objects. A fashion designer designs clothing, a web designer designs web pages, and an automobile designer designs automobiles. In each case, the designer works with the help of a technician or engineer who understands deeper level concepts of manufacturing and engineering, and the designer themself is largely confined to work at a surface level.
More formally, a designer is an agent that "specifies the structural properties of a design object". In practice, anyone who creates tangible or intangible objects, products, processes, laws, games, graphics, services, and experiences is referred to as a designer.

When designers speak of graphic design they speak of it in terms of simplifying complexity so users do not feel overwhelmed when faced with complex systems. More information can lead to a better, simpler solution to whatever problem the designer is trying to solve. Using research methodology to solve problems is one of the most important aspects of design, it enables the designer to properly assess the clients and audience needs. Part of a designer's job is to get to know the audience they intend on canvassing and what will be the placement of any produced material created.

Wireframe A wireframe, also known as a page schematic or screen blueprint, is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a mobile/web. Wireframes are created for the purpose of arranging elements to best accomplish a particular purpose. The purpose is usually being informed by a business objective and a creative idea. The wireframe depicts the page layout or arrangement of the website’s content, including interface elements and navigational systems, and how they work together. The wireframe usually lacks typographic style, color, or graphics, since the main focus lies in functionality, behavior, and priority of content. In other words, it focuses on what a screen does, not what it looks like. Wireframes can be pencil drawings or sketches on a whiteboard, or they can be produced by means of a broad array of free or commercial software applications. Prototype A mobile app prototype is a working and interactive model of the end product. It communicates the design and navigation of the app to stakeholders in order to maximize the efficiency of the development process. Prototypes bring ideas to life and transform a creative vision into a reality to align the customers’ needs with the goals of an organization. Many new product ideas fail because they don’t capture a) whether it’s a good idea, b) whether its easy to use and c) the final outcome of the product. App prototyping is a quick and less expensive way to validate a product, however; it has many other unsung benefits. App prototyping validates an idea as well as allows for exploration of new ideas and solutions early on in the development process. During the prototyping phase, user testing can help identify possible improvements which can be made before the product is completed. A prototype is the product foundation that can either be improved upon or altered to meet the project goals. Testing the product during a user test will trigger new ideas and confirm which direction to take with development. This allows solutions to problems early on during the development process which saves costs in the long run.
